UCO Bank Recruitment 2012: Uco Bank, formerly United Commercial
Bank, established in 1943 in Kolkata, is one of the oldest and major commercial
bank of India. Ghanshyam Das Birla, an eminent Indian industrialist, during the
Quit India movement of 1942, had conceived the idea of organizing a commercial
bank with Indian capital and management, and the United Commercial Bank Limited
was incorporated to give shape to that idea.Bank started with its Head Office
at Kolkata with an issued capital of Rs 2 crore and a Paid-up capital of Rs 1
crore. The bank, along with 13 major commercial banks of India, was
nationalized on 19 July 1969 by the Government of India.UCO Bank has given a recruitment
notification for the recruitment of 1100 Probationary Officers (PO) in JMGS I.

Name of the post: Probationary Officer (PO)-(1100POST)

Age limit: Candidate age must be in between 20
years to 30 years.
Educational Qualification: Any degree from a recognized
University with 55% marks for General and OBC Candidates and 50% marks for
SC/ST/PWD Candidates.
IBPS Score Card Minimum weighted Score:
For General 136, for SC/ST/OBC/PWD 126.
Application Fee: Application fee Rs.300/- for General
& OBC and Rs.50/-for SC/ST/PWD candidates. Application Fee should be
paid through Fee Payment Challan only at any UCO Bank branch from 27/02/2012 to
17/03/2012.
Selection process: The selection process is based on the
performance in Po/MT CWE exam conducted by IBPS in September 2011 and
interview.
